Rome Startup Week: Global Hub of Innovation and Technological Enterprise

The gap between our ecosystem and that of the main European states continues to grow. We need to reverse this negative trend: we need to start investing again in young people and startups to create qualified jobs, avoid the flight of the best talent abroad, and consequently, put a stop to the demographic decline of our country. For this reason, at the Rome Startup Week we will present a Manifesto for the Future based on the rebirth of innovative and technological companies”, said Gianmarco Carnovale, President of the Roma Startup Association and curator of the initiative that introduced the International Festival where technology and innovation inspire future leaders of the world and meet the capital market creating valuable connections.

The fourth edition of the Rome Startup Week will be held on September 19 and 20 at the Gazometro in Rome, organized by Roma Startup together with Orange Media Group, Future4 Comunicazione, and The Growth Kitchen. The event aims to consolidate Rome as an international hub of innovation , bringing together over 50 events focused on 7 strategic vertical themes. Around 5,000 people from all over the world are expected to attend, with over 30 international delegations present.

“We want to promote Italy as an international hub of innovation and sustainable development of new technological enterprise in the Mediterranean area, fostering the growth of technology-driven startups and entrepreneurs with the ambition of scaling and conquering global markets”, continues Gianmarco Carnovale. “ As with other international events in Europe and the United States, the aim of RSW is to build a platform that can inspire and help young leaders in the world to realize their dreams by creating important connections with the world of business angels and foreign Venture Capital funds, but also by weaving relationships between them and Italian professional investors”.

Iniciativa blockchain TrackIT: una oportunidad para que las empresas italianas promuevan y protejan la cadena de suministro Made in Italy en los mercados extranjeros gracias a la tecnología blockchain

Desde octubre de 2022, INNOVA, junto con las empresas HSPI y Blockchain Italia, está calificada como proveedor de servicios dentro del proyecto TrackIT Blockchain promovido y financiado por ICE – Agencia de Comercio Italiana. El proyecto está dirigido a pymes italianas y proporciona servicios de trazabilidad para productos Made in Italy a través de la tecnología blockchain.
El objetivo es fomentar la expansión de las PYME italianas en los mercados exteriores, contrarrestando el fenómeno Italian Sounding, aumentando el nivel de transparencia en la comunicación con el consumidor final y realzando la singularidad de los productos Made in Italy.
Todo esto a través de la tecnología blockchain que permite seguimiento del producto a lo largo de la cadena de producción destacando la calidad y el origen de las materias primas, las fases de producción, los procesos de certificación, la historia de los productos individuales y la singularidad.
Un producto rastreado en blockchain adquiere valor y credibilidad y, por lo tanto, una ventaja competitiva, aumentando la confianza del consumidor final que, escaneando un código QR, puede acceder a información precisa, transparente y fiable sobre el producto y el proceso productivo. Una estrategia ventajosa para las empresas – como afirma Antonella Vulcano Directora de INNOVA en un artículo reciente en la plataforma de la Agencia ICE “Train2Markets” – para valorizar los valores relacionados con el territorio y la cultura de origen y proporcionar una narración integrada de todas las pasos de producción y certificaciones de productos.
Dentro de la iniciativa, INNOVA, HSPI y Blockchain Italia ofrecen un soporte personalizado que incluye:
• un mapeo de la cadena de suministro única
• un sistema de trazabilidad blockchain
• una interfaz de usuario dirigida a consumidores extranjeros
• una actividad de capacitación sobre el uso de la tecnología blockchain para mejorar la oferta en los mercados internacionales.
Los servicios comerciales son gratuitos durante los primeros 18 meses.
